The Epicure restaurant, at 112, Rue Faubourg Saint-Honoré, has enjoyed brilliant success under the direction of Eric Fréchon, since 1999. In the 2009 Michelin Guide it was awarded a third star. Fréchon, who won the title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 1993 while running the Crillon’s restaurant, has literally transformed this gastronomic restaurant within the hotel Le Bristol. With his 15 cooks, he proposes a ‘cuisine of memory and emotions’, where the luxury of rare products like black truffles, caviar or lobster is associated with the authenticity and generosity of some of the finest regional produce. On the décor side, the architect Pierre-Yves Rochon, in association with the Oetker family who have owned the establishment since 1978, has designed a classical yet vibrant interior, with Louis XVI furniture, stone features and mirrors.
