Bernard Magrez is the owner of forty or so vineyards throughout the world including four Bordeaux Crus Classés. His wines and the entire wine region of Bordeaux enjoy an exceptional showcase at his restaurant La Grande Maison. Set in a magnificent mansion, not far from the city centre, La Grande Maison, which also offers a few luxury rooms, has been under the banner of Pierre Gagnaire since summer 2016. This chef, who has had 3 Michelin stars since 1993 for his eponymous Parisian restaurant, has opened no less than 13 gastronomic eateries around the world. For Bordeaux, he has entrusted the kitchen to one of his best chefs, Jean-Denis Le Bras, who was previously chef at his Hong-Kong restaurant ‘Pierre’ where he earned 2 Michelin stars.
Technique and savoir-faire are at the core of this high-flying cuisine, featuring exclusive creations that make exquisite use of regional produce.
