La Grand’Vigne, Les Sources de Caudalie

La Grand’Vigne, Les Sources de Caudalie

Nestled in the midst of the Graves vineyards, and more precisely within that of the famous Château Smith Haut Lafitte, is Les Sources de Caudalie, a luxury hotel with an outstanding restaurant. La Grand’Vigne owes this recognition to the brilliant chef Nicolas Masse, who prepares a precise and subtle cuisine using the finest Gascon produce, with a touch of exotic flavour inspired by his travels. This double Michelin-starred cuisine can be sampled from €95 with the Saturday and Sunday lunch menu.
The glasshouse-like former orangerie, built in the 18th-century, provides the restaurant with an original setting. There is also a lovely terrace overlooking a small lake, against the permanent backdrop of the vines.

Chef: Nicolas Masse
Sommelier: Aurélien Farrouil
Great features: the gentle winter sun which floods the entirely glass building, and the extremely attentive staff.
We especially love…: the exquisitely delicate hors d’oeuvres, like the Chestnut and Foie Gras Croustillant.
Recognition: etoile etoile Guide Michelin, toquetoquetoquetoque Gault & Millau
