The Royal Monceau hotel, close to the Arc de Triomphe and Parc Monceau, has been elected by the Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa as his first venue in France (there are 39 Nobu restaurants around the world). Here, he delivers his highly contemporary vision of Japanese cuisine, strongly influenced by his stints in Peru and Argentina. For the interpretation of his recipes, like Albacore Tuna and Jalapeño Sashimi, or Black Cod in Miso sauce, Nobu has entrusted the direction of the kitchen to chef Hideki Endo, who has been a close member of his team since 2016. Exceptional French ingredients are also marvellously employed, in dishes like Seaweed Tacos with Black Truffle and Ravioli of Wagyu Beef with Foie Gras.

We especially love…: the counter where a few guests can enjoy a close-up view of the sushi masters at work, and the hotel’s 1,500 sq. metre spa designed by Philippe Starck, for a digestive massage.
